Hey guys. I want to get a Stubby antenna. What size do you recommend? I want the car to look good but also want desent reception. I've seen them from 1.5" to 6.8". What size antenna do you have?

 

This is the one I use. We put one on my wife's car too. The reception is great and in a year there has been NO issues with rust. You can get it on ebay LINK.

 

Hey that looks great! That is a bit longer than the Stubby's that SoCal had right? Looks it at least...I was wondering if my reception would take a hit with the smaller antenna...good to hear this one is working ok!

Other's have mentioned that the SoCal stubby did suffer the shorter you made it. Also, a few who got the chrome mentioned that there's showed rust after a short time. I think the shape of this one really goes well with the lines ofg the car too.

 

Anyone see something like this at Autozone so I dont have to pay $9 shipping thru Fleabay?

 

I tried the ones there first, none of the adapters fit. I guess you could go to a hardware store. That's what I had to do when I put this one back on since I'd lost the post.

STUBBY ANTENNA

 

Not the same seller. Doesn't look chrome either more like satin, must be the relection in the pic. The one in the listing does look chrome.

 

Sorry, was refering to seller from who I purchased mine. Yes, not the best lighting, it is chrome.
