Looks great GDZ. Ordered it off ebay. Have you had any problems with it going thru a car wash or do you just take it off? Thanks again for the link. My HHR has the Chrome package so i think the chrome antenna will look great.

I just make sure I don't use the ones that have a center blower that lowers. I did have a bad experience with a blower lowering and breaking the base. The one I use now has an option to push # to keep it from lowering.

I just like the look of this antenna better than the others I've seen. Hope ya like it too.

The chrome one I got on Ebay that is on Bob looks like yuck after only month...looks like little rust bubbles or pimples forming on it and reception has gone down hill. I'm putting the OEM back on until I get an Equinox antenna

Sorry to hear that. We've had no issues with rust or reception.

Aluminum is not supposed to Rust?
The one advertised on ebay says.... Aluminummmmmm...
Maybe it's some kinda of oxidation.
Yes the Equinox antenna does look good too.

There are a ton of different antennas on ebay. SOme chrome, some aluminium, etc. I suspect this particular one was one of Socal's closeouts. A number of peopl have commented that those rusted a bit.

I bought a nice brushed aluminum one with three black stripes at the top..ties in well with both my satin chrome and black bezel.

BTW rust is a form of oxidation.

Thumbs up equinox antenna...

I had a chrome stubby, but I ordered the antenna from the '07 Equinox. I need to post a pic, but I like the look a lot, the reception is great and to me it is the perfect length. It even has a cool twisty thing around the antenna.
