I recently purchased a HHR and this was under one of the front seats. Just wondering is anyone has a clue where this came from? Or possibly doesn't even belong to the car. I've been over the car a few times and don't notice anything that looks similar to this, or anything that looks like its missing a cover like this. Thanks

 

Looks like the endcap for the seat runner.

It is a cover for the lock down clip for the back seat. Look on the front edge of the rear seat floor level. Hope this helps.

 

Hilarious. I found the same item in mine when I bought it.
Couldn't see a place for it, so I tossed it.

 

Might be off topic but for the past years I've owned Gregg there has been a random Bolt wedged between the subframe and transmission. Just sitting there...... Still don't know what it's for, but it's there!
