I didn't notice that, greybeard... I see that they are different. But we are perfectly happy with ours. The purpose of them is to be able to vent the car. I don't see a need on stationary windows. I've seen people even put them across the big back windows.

And I don't like anything that sticks to a car with two-sided tape. Obviously the EGRs have two-sided tape too but they are also held on by the window. Where I live it gets 116 degrees in the summer. That will make the best two sided tape come loose. Even in places where that is not an issue, in my opinion, it just doesn't look like part of the car. It looks like something that is just stuck on. But that is why we all have different opinions and different tastes.

You can have the best of both worlds w/ the Weather Techs. They cover all of the rear door windows and still fit in channel!!

@sleeper...... wasn't really looking, they are leftovers from "Dory" and some of a misc. parts deal I got when I bought the tail light rings.

Like I said.... I never really liked the look of these things when I stated seeing them on every jacked up over done 4X4, even the good ones always looked like "JC Whitney" to me...... Like windshields on motorcycles.

The fact that they blend in more on the HHR helps in the looks department and if they help with wind noise, great, if not they come off.

I don't sell them. I just bought them a few years ago. I did a quick Google search on 'EGR vent visors' and found several places they are for sale. I don't know if any of the supporting vendors on the forum sell them or not.

You can buy them direct from EGR here:
http://www.egrusa.com/

Here is a place that sells several different brands. They get $66 for the 4 piece EGRs. They actually have an in-channel set from Ventshade for $48. Can't say about the quality though.

If you do your own Google search you can probably find the best deal. I bought mine from stylintrucks.com many years ago when they had a special. I just checked and they are a little higher now.

One thing that I want to mention with any of these... I love them, but especially if you drive on curvy roads or are used to looking ahead over the driver's side mirror, they do reduce visibility. It is not enough that I would take them off because I love them for the venting, but for some it may be a deal breaker.
