They have a lip around them with two-sided tape that slips up inside the window channel. Slide them up in there and roll the window up and it presses the tape on. On mine, there seems to be enough tension that they would probably hold anyway so the tape seems to just be a backup.

No, window tint is installed on the inside. But I don't think these would rub enough to harm anything anyway.

Good price. I wish they told what brand they are. But if you think the quality is good, then that is probably good enough. The only thing that concerns me out here, like I mentioned earlier, is the heat. Everything out here bakes and falls apart. So far my EGRs have held up to it and are not brittle or anything.

the ones i have did hold up good last winter. here in WNY its gets pretty cold and snowy. i would imagine with age they would get more fragile though. we are pretty much at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to weather so maybe checking the feed back would help out?

I ended up buying the Ventshades ones. I love them, but could have sworn that the rear ones covered the whole window including the one the doesn't roll down. They don't, or at least the ones i got don't. Oh well. I still like them.
