12V switched power?

I've done some reading and I think it's pretty neat how one box controls everything. However, it does make things a bit more difficult as far as wiring.

I am going to install a CB for my upcoming road trip. I would like to power it via switched power and have it turn off like the radio does when the door is opened.

What wire do I need to tap into to make this happen? I pulled out the radio the other day and the gauge on the wires are pretty minimal. I'd use whatever signal wire to power a relay and get the juice through a thicker wire elsewhere and avoid loading up the circuit.

Can anyone tell me what wire I need to find and tap into?

Help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Switched power, turns off when you open the door.
