Switched to Goldlines

After not liking the Canuck Motorsports I installed I bought a set of used Goldlines in the Classifieds.

The problem I had with alignment was a bent strut post so I bought a set of Monroe struts and shocks from Advanced auto and am really glad I did. After I installed the shocks and struts I had it aligned again it is a night and day difference. The car rides and drives like a new one.

Think it got bent from spring compressor ? You didn't have the problem prior..

No I didn't but I have no way to prove it. I should have done the original install myself but had never done front springs myself so I was a bit concerned with trying them. Now that I have done it myself I will not let anyone else do springs for me again.

Yeah I am actually kind of glad it happened. I really wanted to replace Struts and Shocks when I did the springs originally but didn't want to spend the money. It rides so much nicer now I am really pleased with the results. :)

How mouch did the struts set you back?
I got 113,000 on my 06, and want to do front struts, But I was thinking (out of the norm) that I might want to lift the front by 1&1/2 to 2 inches. Insted of lowering the rear to get the level look.
Has anyone done this using non OEM longer struts?
Or is this a bad Idea?

No OEM longer struts....aftermarkets stuff is limited too....why would you raise it? Completly mess up handling/control and probably go misaligned to boot..
