2010 Chevrolet HHR Panel LS Rear Speaker Wire Colors

I'm going to install a Line Converter (High to Low Level) on a Stock Base Radio. Could someone let me know which are the Rear Speaker wire Color Codes. I tried to use the info at:

http://www.modifiedlife.com/2010-che...-wiring-chart/

However this site does not indicate the trim level that their system calls out. When i tried to find the wires as noted I found no Brown wire.

I would like to pick up the wires under the Passenger Side Kick Panel rather than behind the Radio. I will locate me small Amp under the Passenger seat.

Can anyone assist to facilitate this plan?

Thanks!

the brown/yellow pair are for the left side, you can pick them up under the carpet below the drivers door, or from behind the radio.

Hi prod, thanks for the info. Would you have the correct color codes for the Passenger side?

I believe its light blue/dark blue. On mine the speaker pairs are twisted together, easier to identify them.

OK, I checked under the front kick panels on each side and still was not sure. Then, I removed the rubber grommet were the wires go into each back door and found the wires that you referred to.

Last question is on each side which is the positive and which is the negative? then I would be all set.

Thanks again prod!

from the post I linked above, the dark blue and brown are the positives.
If you pull up the plastic trim at the bottom of both front doors and look under the carpet, you should see the wire bundles, might have to unwrap the electrical tape to see those colors. Saves you running wire up and down the rear door pillars.

Hey Prod,

I wanted to thank you again. I got my Subs and Amp in. Your connector drawing/Info did the trick. The info is spot on.

Cheers/BunglerHHr
