I have read MANY posts, but really have not seen answer to what I am dealing with, so my apologies if I missed the answer somewhere else. I installed a Pioneer AVH-X390BS head unit, did NOT use integration LAN interface. Just a conversion harness kit so no cut n splice of factory harness. Ran power wire for radio to bypass the fact that there is not one from factory (stand alone). Added Sirius SXV300 tuner and this is where my antenna problems began. The kit has an adapter that allows radio (AM/FM) antenna to work, but not to integrate the XM in. Car had factory XM installed with head unit. But only a single connection to radio for antenna existed for both? I have used the supplied XM antenna that came with the 300, but I want to tie into factory antenna (shark fin). How is that done at FRONT on car via singe connection as factory had it? Or do I need to do some voodoo at the back maybe? Very confusing to say the least. Thank you for any constructive help & direction. Was not bought from Crutchfield, and I have dug around there as well.

A. there is power on the factory harness, there is no switched power on it.
B. you get a extension cable for the XM and run it from the factory installed XM radio under the carpet to the front. Seems I recall Crutchfield sells them.
BTW, Crutchfield has free advice.
