I've read the instructions and have done all it says to do. I never listen to the radio, only mp3 and the occasional CD. Every wire from the harness is hooked up properly. the issue is I can't even get the lights to the stereo to come on I get no power.

If the fuses are ok, and it is wired up properly, then either the adaptor, or the radio itself, are defective OR there is still a fuse that is needing replacement..

Have you tried attaching 12v to the radio with it grounded - but first use the car's wiring that is attached to the adaptor (ie: bypass the adaptor)......... once that is done then test the radio under the hood attaching it to 12v and ground?

You say you have installed 100's of radios over the year - so surely you must have a Volt/Ohm Meter which would be the first tool to use in the diagnostics?

Do you mean "is there 12V on the 12V wire"? Doesn't the power just get inside the radio by magic?

Magic is the keyword for sure. I don't understand this situation, as the essential tool that I would have handy when doing a project like this one, is a multimeter. It would be used to double-check power, grounds etc..

In my shop it was RTFB. It was posted in the library where books were stored.

How about a card file ?

It was a JOKE! Lighten up yourself.

You seemed to be avoiding the question or at least, never mentioned if there was 12 volts on the wire.

Where's the joke? I've read this manual numerous times.
