Maybe, just maybe you can avoid further problems. You know you`ll want you A/M speakers back after the repair anyway...
I here ya! You've told me before and you're right, I should have been honest to begin with.

The antenna has been replaced, twice. And that didn't solve the problem. That's why this is so frustrating.

I have rechecked the antenna and all speaker connections and it all seems to be okay. What I'm afraid of is that while trying to find the problem they may have caused another one, I'm just guessing I really have no clue at this point.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Looks like tomorrow its going to the shop.

Good Luck Bud, Hate to see all these problems from a simple carwash. I never go through machines, brushless or otherwise.
Put on your MOST HUMBLE face tomorrow morning... B/B

Hey Mike...it's Saturday...enquiring minds want to know how you fared at the dealer. Thinking about changing out my own speakers, but after all the problems you encountered, would like to get some input before going down that road. Hope it all turned out well...but wasn't sure since you did post some info on some aftermarket stuff. Did you decide to go that direction?

I'd go for it Deb. I had no problems until the issue with the antenna. Every sound guy I talked to said its VERY unlikely that the speakers could ever cause the issue GM was taking.

I am hoping to pickup my car from the audio shop Monday!

The moral of this story is first, be honest! Second, some dealers will try to screw you!

Thanks for the link to the new thread Deb, I'm gonna close this sucker since its a dead subject now.

Peace, out!
