Bluetooth conection problem

How was the OnStar disabled? If it was unsubscribed I think BT should work. Some tin foil enthusiasts go further.

The shop manual basically says replace the OnStar unit, it is their problem not GM.

It is an unknown how OnStar doesn't work being I bought the car used with 20K. From what I've read BT should work without Onstar.
Going to check the fuse and do the battery thing anyway, just because, today.

Check the #24 fuse found OK. Did your suggestion while I changed the oil in my snow thrower
AND? Bluetooth (BT) works.
Haven't tried to pair it with the phone yet because I have to put my snow tire's on now.

OK update
Paired the phone to car, I now have learn to put my phone list in. I also understand I can use BT to play music from Pandora, which I don't know right now.. One more step to come into the 21 first century.

BT on the HHR does only phone no music.

Yes did the battery thing. Pulled the negative cable off for a little more than 1/2 hour.
