can't Vin unlock radio

It’s a matter of erasing the previous vin and programming your vin, for that you need a dealership scan device, some automotive radio shops have one, but a dealership is easier to find.

If it's an aftermarket radio, there is no lock. The adapter for the chimes is recommended.

Ok guys, thanx so much! looks like a trip to the dealership is instore for me. No problem. once I get the OEM radio unlocked duz this mean I should have all the bells and whistles back for my key in switch and lights left on and so on? Either way, just to have my CD playing again would be worth it.

Once the OEM head unit is vin matched , everything will work, if it doesn’t, then your speakers are kaput!

Which is more likely than a broken radio.
