Eclipse head unit

Anybody hear of these, I'm not familiar with the name. I was looking a them this weekend and may go for the 7000. The installer thinks that he has an interface for the steering wheel controls that will work, but as you guy's know, no main harness interface, I am loosing my chimes, which I could care less about.

Please comment on Eclipse and the steering wheel control module............

exclipse used to be the shizznit when it came to head units. There used to be alot of big stereos running off of eclipse HU, hitting 155-165 db, these guys useded to be in to stereo comps back in the day. I havent heard any of their new stuff. I cant imagine that they have change that much.

The PAC SWIX interface will indeed work with your redundant wheel controls. The Eclipse unit is fantastic, and pricey. For a single-DIN nav unit, it's incredible, but for $2000-2400, damn... Just installed one into a customer's Ram 1500 today.
