General antenna question

Just wondering if the standard HHR antenna is XM ready or is there a separate XM ready antenna? I ask this because I have a portable XM radio installed in my HHR with a removable magnetic XM antenna. I'd like to mount the antenna on the roof but if the factory antenna is XM ready then I'll just use that one. One additional piece of info...my stock radio is not an XM radio. Thanks in advance, Jim

My 09 has the stubby in the rear for the XM. The regular antenna is not usable as XM.

If you don't have an XM capable radio from the factory, changes are you don't have the XM antenna at the back of the car.
Look at the back of this car and you will see it on the rear of the roof.

Thanks guys for the info. No, I do not have the stubby antenna on the rear of my roof. I guess that answers that question. Thanks again!
