I installed an XM tuner the other day and hooked up a remote and RCA set. They're sitting behind/below the dash right now so I didn't have to pull the HU again in the future. I will run them back soon and install the amp/sub. Hopefully there's room somewhere for the amp! Thanks for your help so far Rich!

Good planning! I decided to switch what HU I was going to use. I initially was going with the new Pioneer AppRadio 2, that is finally compatible with Android smartphones. Unfortunately, the Apple cable is included, but the Android cable set is another $100. For what I was going to use, I felt the new Pioneer AVIC-X940BT was the better choice. Now I'm just waiting on UPS to start my install.

My pleasure, Brian. I'm going to be pulling my headliner out soon as well as a lot of the trim to kill two birds with one stone. I'm recovering the headliner in black as well as running all of my cabling, including for a back up camera. I should have quite a bit more experience soon

 

You will love the X940BT. I have the 930 and am extremely happy with it and everything it does.
