I wonder if CJ has played around with his visors? He's done pretty much everything else to his HHR including completely changing the air in his tires each season.

You're probably right there Firewatcher. I know he put new stickers over the airbag ones, but don't remember if he said he's done any more than that. I'm sure he'll stop by when he gets a chance to see what we're up to while he's on the road.

If he hasn't done it, he'll peek in here just out of pure curiousity...just to see what else he might be able to do to his Shaggy.

I just got brave and took a second look. After pokeing around under the flap that conceals the mirror, I noticed that the 2 areas where lights should go had slots. The indicated that there must be space back there. So..........I used a finger nail under the top left corner, pried a bit , and voila! That whole plastic piece flew right out! It exposed pretty much everything inside, which actually is not much. There is a thin space throught the visor, and probably enough for small wire (16/18 ga). It attaches with 4 plastic pressure clips. Just watch the fabric edges when reinserting it. If just a touch pokes out, it won't seat on the mounting pins. Hope this helps!
