Welcome to the site, Sam. I would think it is there, push the band button it should give you a preview/sales pitch. Which year is your 2LT ?

Welcome. Also the XM folks are airing some "free" channels right now.

to the forum yosemitrsam!

While all HHR's are "XM Capable" it was an option, check your build tag for option code U2K, if its there you have the XM equipment installed from the factory. Another dead giveaway is the presence or lack of the funky little antenna above the rear hatch.

Welcome! hitting the band button is the easiest way to find out. if you get the free xm channel, you have it. it is possible to have the antenna and not have the xm tuner

i do have the funky antenna but i was told from the dealer that onstar shares the antenna with xm. and it is possible to have onstar without xm. thats where im at now. ive looked into it and you can find the kit to hook up to the radio and antenna easily and stay stock.

On the flip side, is it possible to have U2K option w/xm and onstar and not have an antenna? Why is this all so confusing? I've been searching threads and can't get a straight answer anywhere. Seems silly to include premium stereo and xm tuner and not add the antenna.....
