I know that much.

My question is do I connect each seperately or do I splice the two together and have just one connection going to the amp? Meaning, do I take the (+) from each sub to a single (+) line, splice each (-) to make one (-) line which means I would then have just one (+)(-) line going to the amp.

If I take each to the amp seperately, I'm unsure which +/- to use. I'm used to them being lined up in pairs: + - + - ; not ++ - -

it is bridged internally so you can just run a set of wire from one terminal to the other and then one set from that coupler to the amp. then use one set of +,- at the amp....not that hard, but you are elder so i will be understanding

;P

Gottcha!! Having two connections on the back of the sub box threw me!

So your saying they should be bridged internally, cool! But then why have the two connections?

i suggest using http://www.bizrate.com/caraccessorie...-pid540011592/ for the low level signal output.

or use this AC unit http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6359...GRAY+LC6-.html

we like using the AC unit ourselves.
Thanks Questman for answering all our questions!
You got some good Karma coming your way
I found this expensive but cool sounding device while looking into cleansweep alternatives. Many options out there now. A lot more than even last year when I was really looking

Harpo-the Rockford piece is cool, no real experience with it, but the fact that you need a PDA to tune it on top of the initial cost...you might as well buy an aftermarket deck

Mike-you can run 2 sets of wires to the box from the amp, but why add in all the extra mess...BTW you should run some nice 12 guage wire to that box, pick up some of the kicker wire from CS.

Okay, because the wiring from the original is still there. All I have to do is wire it to the box.

Thanks for the help, I think all will be well. I'll let ya know when the car comes back from the shop getting the damage fixed. Box came the day the car went in.
