PAL here. Dock connector is in my upper glove box. Out of site. Controlled through the factory system. Yes, it may be a tad slow, but it works, sounds great and I don't have any wires or cables running anywhere around my dash.

You can use a retractable 3.5mm wire. You can get them on Amazon.com for a couple of bucks.

Is it possible to connect an iPod to the rear of the stick non-pioneer head unit? I'd like to drill a hole in the top glove compartment to be able to leave my iPod in that space.

Don't you have a aux port on the face of radio ? I have a 06 play my iphone into it. where do you find these old post 8/4/09 three years old.. started 06/05/09
