keep popping inline fuse on my amp

Sounds to me like you're having an input level overload on your power amp. If you can run "all day" at lower volumes the amp is fine with the input level it's seeing. Once you "crank it" the level coming in might push your amp into clipping or overload it's inputs. This would explain the fuses blowing at higher SPL's.

What type of line-level matching device are you using?

how many watts is your amp and how many amperage fuse are you using?

i bought the schocse line level converter at walmart...i have the adjustment screws all the way out....could that be the problem?

Yes I'm sure that's the problem. You need to play around with the adjustment to take the level down a bit. The problem is your overall level is too high once you crank things up. Try taking it down a bit at a time until the problem goes away.

Be sure to adjust both sides as equally as possible to retain a natural stereo balance. (This is hard to do without having a test tone CD and SPL meter though.)

Give it a shot and post the results...

ok i wondered if that was the problem..since in my other car i did have a aftermarket H/U
So after work tonight or maybe tomorrow ill see what happens

actually if you read the instructions on the converter it tells you to turn the gain all the way to 0 then slowly adjust it from there..Also you may want to consider a larger fuse.I have a 600 watt amp that uses 2 30 amp fuses so I used a 60 amp fuse inline on my power wire..
