The local Advance sells those kits (if that's the LED kit). Check local laws to see if you can run them. Maybe not the chasing/dancing mode, but if they can run neon, I don't see why you can run LED's.

Just checked out the videos. Very cool Asking for trouble? Maybe!! As I just said in another post, I simply left my Crossfire in a parking lot for 15 min. and someone keyed it. Jealousy is an evil thing.

Well, the Oznium website has a forum section which seems to be teeming with youngsters (of course - it's a FUN LIGHTING product!) but also has tons of info. So, I'm going to go read up on what's allowed in California. Some states don't even want them turned on when the car's parked and turned off - duh, I gotta be very careful about this. Oh my gosh, there was not 1 HHR represented on the Oznium forum/gallery, so I jumped in with both feet. It's very different to go somewhere where our cars are DISLIKED, but doesn't bother me. Different strokes.

If you didn't come across this yet, a blue light showing anywhere on your vehicle, or any red light not on the rear of the vehicle could be considered "impersonating an emergency vehicle" and carries a big fine. Be careful where you turn those on.

Here's a link to a very interesting conversation with a California COP re underbody lighting. http://www.autoi.com/CVC.html For me, I have to click on the "download the mp3 file" to get it to work.

I wouldn't leave the lights on while away from the vehicle. That's just showing off and could lead to trouble from some ignorant types. It could be distracting from the highway and lead to trouble from passing traffic or be a beacon to cops or the local thugs. You've put a lot of work into your gorgeous car, why take risks?

I agree, it's just good for a giggle and my car is the mascot at the Mopar get togethers at night at the diners... this way, she doesn't get ignored.
