Dayum ! That is one long run-on,loooong sentence.
Maybe rewrite it with a little punctuation so we can understand what you’re saying.
Is it a question or just a rant ?

I read, he installed an aftermarket Hu and subwoofer, is learning about the HHR .

we see many times folks installing a new head unit and wire it themselves. My suggestion is to go to Crutchfield.com , they have the correct interface components and instructions for your installation.
If that’s not an option then reinspect the wiring you did, something shook loose

Came out, hooked it back up, no issues until I got going down the road. The head unit I put in was a touch screen. It was flickering, so I stopped and when to the contact on the battery. (sic, no idea)

About that time, nothing, so i bought a new head unit, ‘cause, like i said, I am new to this.

It’s a dual. [?!] I had or have a 1000 Watt Alpine amp and it pushes 2 1200 Watt 12inch Alpine subs.

Now, this car came factory with a built in pioneer Amp and a 8 inch sub. This car has the power inverter in the back. It reads 12V, so idk what to do. I must have too much time on my hands, because I obsessively did a 1st-pass copy edit. Yer welcome.

Removing the negative cable is the correct way.
Did the connector get broken or not tightened back?
How did you wire the switched power and the constant power?
What power inverter? Why do you need AC power?
You might need a second battery to push a lot of power. Add all of the power requirement of the modules together. How many amps are needed?
