I never liked using the suction cup mount on the windshield. The meter is too far, the cord hangs across the whole dash, and it looks suspicious to any passing cops. So, I made a simple to use bracket out of wood that slides into the slot under my radio. The wood is a precise fit, and strips of velcro above and below make it very secure.





I think it looks pretty high-tech there, also.

My next project is to make a mount in the same spot for my Creative Zen Wide player.
