Thanx CH. I was tempted to pay an installer to do the work, but after seeing your handy work on your sub box, I decided to do it myself. I'm still debating if that was a good idea

Wow, I commend you on your hard work. Very professional. So how long did that take you to build (sub box & amp rack)?

I'm not sure if I can put an exact time frame on the work. If I got home from work and had some time, I'd build a part. Or I used my weekends off to do the work. First I had to build cardboard cut outs as templates then I transferred it to the MDF. The box is actually a dual 10 inch Q-logic box covered in MDF and vinyl.

Whatever time you think it's going to take, multiply times 2, actually times 3!

Phenominal! Fantastic job on the amp rack!

Did you pop the pin and take out the spring to take the door off fully or another route, if I may?

Once I have the funds for the ceramic CGS, I'll stop by. But that can be a couple of months from now. In the meantime you're welcomed to swing on by and check it out at my house.

Well today was my first day driving to work with my new audio...I was grinning from ear to ear the whole 70 mile roundtrip I'm still tuning everything but I yet to go past 10 on the volume! The thing is loud! And I'm taking it easy since I read that you should break in the subs by not blasting them for about a week or two.

I have the treble between 1 and 2 and the bass at 3. BBE is on and some other Alpine bass options are on. Basically I have my setup for max bass. The subs kick major you know what. The sound from the door speakers and tweeters is crystal clear. It's so nice to hear/feel bass without having to rupture my ear drums no more (OEM)

I don't think I could've put the remote bass nob in a better place. My hand just rest on the e-brake, totally stealth, and I adjust the bass without having to touch the Alpine head unit. I still have some tuning to do to get it just right. I also have some adjustments to make to my setup, but that's going to have to wait till the weekend. I'm already making some plans of changing my setup a little bit...But I'm going HVROD on the details

Stealth bass nob lurking underneath...
