Okay, I've got the right rear quarter panel open enough to see that the module doesn't seem to be there, but I've talked to the OnStar lady, so I know I've got a module somewhere! I did see to be what looks like cable that comes down from the rear antenna, but it goes down the side of the door and disappears under the carpet. Do I need to take it out? Somebody may have moved the OnStar module to a different location, but this is just a guess.

Must be after market. Find the other end of the antenna. That wire does not look factory to me.

Is U2J or U2K on the glovebox label?

Take a look at this thread, especially the connector pic.

U2J is digital radio "S" band NOT installed. I don't know if that means OnStar and XM.
UE0 means Comm system Vehicle GPS- NOT installed. Fairly sure that is OnStar. The OnStar module is call VCIM, Vehicle Communications Interface Module.
I just confirmed that. Your car does not have factory OnStar.

Was the car a rental in its past life?

No idea, but I will try to find out this week, I think I can get ahold of the previous owner.

I do know that SOMEBODY installed OnStar on this car, as it has the OnStar mirror, it has the radio mute/phone buttons on the steering wheel, they just didn't install the Bluetooth at the same time.

What are you trying to do? Bypass a tin foil hat?
I added to my previous post UE0 means OnStar NOT installed at factory.

I understand what you are saying, it's just that I will have to backtrack and find the person that had the OnStar installed and where they put the darn thing!

From what I can tell Aftermarket units are all in the mirror. Check with a Best Buy installer.

Crutchfield used to carry them. Meaning they probably have online install info.
Or look here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/69...mv-Mirror.html
