Onstar Lock Pick for Bluetooth

I want an intergrated Bluetooth setup real bad in my 08 SS. The problem with using some of the aftermarket Bluetooth systems is their compatibility issues with the factory Pioneer system. They work with the standard radio but not the Pioneer. I found this company and I am wondering if it will work with the Pioneer system. Does anybody have this setup? I plan to call these lockpick people but was just wondering if anyone has experience with this product. Thanks, G.B.

Can you get the stock 09 HU that has bluetooth? I have an 09 with bluetooth, pioneer, and onstar. Only thing is that the damned HU isnt the right one, it doesn't have the USB input on it.

doesn't matter if you have the 09 head unit the bluetooth is controlled by the new onstar module, which is also new for 09. It also can not be put in an older hhr.

According to ChevyMgr in another recent thread(it might be in the Audio section) in an 09 if you do not have Blue tooth, and mine does not, you can not add it without going to an after market device.

I have been frustrated that aftermarket bluetooth systems like Parrot are not compatible with the upgraded Pioneer system. G.B.

I literally just emailed the customer support for the costartech system. I will post their reply when they get back to me. I too am frustrated. I have the Parrot 3200LS and it worked like a dream in my previous Checy Colorado truck but when I transferred it over to my HHR it's not so great anymore I can't control the volume easily and I have tons of noise. I hope this new think works since they are tapping into the OnStar system. I'll let you guys know what they say.

I also just contacted the Costaletech people as well to see what their response is. I like theirs better since it is supposed to work with my Parrot module and it's waaaay cheaper than the other one! Always a plus in my book :)
