Question Replacing factory radio questions.

Hi all,
I'm about to replace my factory radio with a nice little Pioneer DEH-P7900BT, anyway I had some questions that I was hoping someone here could answer...

1. Is there any other in-dash mount for this player that isn't the one made for a Malibu?
2. What kind of adapter will I need to keep my OnStar working? Will this also keep those annoying little chimes that I've come to rely on?

Thanks, and awesome site. :)

The install kit is available from Metra, the harness too, it is a GMOS-LAN-04 and will retain your on-star and chimes. Best bet is to get on Metra Electronics web site and bring up the HHR and it will show what they have.

Forgive my stupidity, but what's the difference between an amplified and non-amplified HHR?

If I am right here, that is the difference between the regular system and the poineer system that came from the factory. The pioneer system has a sub and amp in the rear, but I would replace that anyway.
