Scosche GM 2000
I did a search and I couldn't find a mention. Anyone know if this radio adapter (enables chimes) will work on my 2009 LT 1? I have the basic stereo with no On star. It sells at Walmart for $39. Thanks.

Here's a link to the manufacturer, the HHR is not listed as an applicable vehicle.

Thanks for the reply but it seems the link you provided is for model GM09SR. I couldn't even locate the GM-2000 on Scosche's website. I was hoping maybe someone around here tried one. maybe I'll see what Walmart's return policy is and if returnable I try it and see.

Opps, sorry about that, but doing a search on that model of Scosche gadget immediately turned up that PDF I linked you to.
Walmart has a pretty liberal return policy so they shouldn't give you a hassle.

Thanks for the help. I called Scosche. The GM2000 won't talk to the HHR computer correctly. The Scosche GM13SR is the right adapter. I have one ordered on Ebay for $29. I've been putting this off for too long because they always seemed to be in the $80 to $100 range. Can't wait to finally get my aftermarket radio installed. It has an SD card slot so I don't have mess with the battery sucking MP-3 player anymore!
