This may sound crazy but I would love to know how to turn off the constant beeping warning that happens every time I unlock and open this vehicle without it affecting the alarm system. Am I stuck with it? I do realize that if I manually lock all of the individual locks it won’t happen but then it doesn’t lock the hatch. I only have a key and no key fob. This thing is waking up everyone as I’m trying to get into the car fast enough to not send it from beeping into full blown alarm. Any help is appreciated.

Get a fob. There are fobs available with a programmer. Dorman is one brand. Less than $75 if you shop around.

 

What year is your car?
You do know about the "lock all" button on the driver door?
Read section 2 of your Owner Manual (link in my sig).
If the lift gate does not lock look in the under hood fuse box; there should be NO fuse in position #11.

For 2006 and 2007:
Lock all doors, unlock driver door, step out of the car, lock the driver door, close the driver door. Alarm not armed.

 

Guess they’re not coming back.
