If you feel like opening your wallet , buy a set of Dakota Digital Gauges . I am using them in my install . A bit pricey , but dead on accurate ...
The back side is the wiring , very straight forward and simple ...

This one is 300ms (3 readings a second), is about 1/8 the size of those huge stinger meters, and about 10 times cheaper, or 1/10th ($2)

I've got 5 of these. Still paid less than one single stinger meter. Over priced garbage. They don't mention the refresh rate, or accuracy.

And here is a direct email from stinger. (why people even use stinger is beyond my reasoning)
And you are comparing that with stinger ?
Seems I am the only one on this site to even mention stinger , let alone are currently using it in an install. I take that comment as direct fire across my bow .
I would use what you are use , but it would degrade my install and her HHR . Maybe you could give me a tip or two on how to cheese up the center piece of my dash with outfitting it with a 2 dollar volt meter and a pac lc-1 level controller .
Is that custom fabricated card board for the tweeters in the center bonnet ?
I mentioned the stinger piece because it is plug and play . And it is also a usb power supply . I have one in my company truck, works great and charges my lap top . Zero problems . So the refresh rate is not every 3 milliseconds , who cares . It serves a function 2 fold .
