Sadly, the shop that's removing the graphics from the car is going to have it for a little while into tomorrow. The system sounds really good, though, I made sure to test it last night & this morning as I dropped it off.

I didn't do any cutting when I installed my HU (also from crutchfields). What I did do is push the connectors through the holes, then hooked up the chimes, etc, up from the backside. That is going in from under the dash board. And yes, it is a true PIA! I put a little lantern on the passenger side, so I could see what I was doing. And even then, lots of "by feel" stuff. As such, I dread any mods I end up doing. In any event, I have one more mod, which is my AV mod (have already added Sirius, VIM, etc), then I'll be done with my HU (I hope, I hope, I hope). I will take pix when I do it, and post, so you can see. And yes, you are right, it is an extremely tight fit. But yes it is doable without requiring any cutting whatsoever.
