sirius may have it but as far as I know, we do not.. As much as they want to be called one company, they operate as 2. Just like how if we want stern, you have to pay extra for the best of sirius... that they get with their normal plan. Also, if you have the XM radio in your car, don't go ordering from the sirius site, since you don't have a sirius radio, that doesn't work.

no ala carte...

A ala cart give you only 50 channels that you pick. How many channels you getting when you call them? Also I see it depnds on which site you go to, either XM radio or Sirius.

you get a lot more channels but honestly I would love an alacarte. 50 would be enough for me. Or the option to switch your choices each month or something...

but like i said, only sirius has ala carte and we don't have sirius radios on our cars.

Ok, I think I got the best price of anyone here: I am getting it for $5/month, no joke! I called them and said I wanted to cancel my subscription because we were cutting back on our expenses and the guy said I could have it for something like $10/month and I said that was still too pricey. I explained that I only listened to maybe 4 channels and the price wasn't worth it. He then offered it to me for $5/month. I made him repeat his offer a couple of times, just to make sure I heard correct. He said it would be $5/month for 3 months, to be billed in Jan '10 when my current subscription is to be renewed. I guess we'll see what happens.

Yeah, I didn't renew because I don't drive the car that much and when I do I listen to my iphone music. They called me and I did renew as they offered my $4.95 a month for 6 months and waived the activation fee. What ever that amounts to. They billed $29.70 to my credit card over the phone. I'm not cheap but I still think I overpaid since I don't care if I have it or not.

I renewed for ~$80 a few weeks ago but haven't been able to send them a check yet.
They called my cell phone a few times and left a message each time when I didn't answer.
They still haven't cut the feed so I guess they're hungry.
I'm not trying to gyp them I just don't have the $$ right now.
I'll send it when I can.
I use it enough to be worth it.
