I did and have not looked back. No vibration, no nothing just great stopping power. Red stuff pads worked out great for me!

Good for you. Others could learn from you. I drive a Titan truck and despite the bad rap for brake issues I've had very little problem. The issue here is not so much a problem with the parts, it's a problem with the driver. Nearly all "warped" rotors are a result of pad smear and hot spotting. Both induced by the driver who is either not using the proper pad for their application or more often; poor driving habits. Bringing the car to a hard stop off a freeway ramp at a light shold be followed by some creeping or in a standard tranny car the removal of ones foot from the brake pedal. This is where your damages are coming from.

My Dad, a retired GM engineer, taught me how to brake appropriately and ease off the pedal immediately after a hard-braking scenario. He also taught me how to downshift properly and use the engine's braking power to save the brakes on a manual-equipped vehicle. On five cars in the last twelve years, I've only put brakes on two of 'em and those were the two cars I bought used. Never had to replace rotors or drums, only pads and shoes.

Now I'm just lazy about tire care. These extended oil changes and all the flats I've replaced on the HHR have me avoiding tire rotations for no good reason. My two stock Affinity's are now beyond warranty and looking pretty bad. Tax refund is going into a couple of new tires next month to match the two newer ones in the back.
