Hello all!

I noticed that Car 11 was pulling a little to the left and the right front tire was wearing more than it should for only 14,000 miles. So I took it to my trusty mechanic.

The front end alignment was "out" just a tiny bit, but when he aligned the front end, the rear alignment went out of sync. So he had to use a shim for the left rear (per Chevrolet) and then when he put the shim in, the other rear went out of alignment, so it needed both shims.

Now here is the wonderful thing: My mechanic of 21 years said he felt bad about quoting me for one shim and labor, and even though he called me about the second shim he only charged me for the front end alignment and the shims, he did not charge me his labor for the rear alignment. (Saving me $80!) That's the way he is. He also polished my wheels (no charge) and personally hand torked the wheels back on Car 11 (he didn't have one of his grease monkeys do it - I have wheel locks).

I am very blessed to have this guy as my mechanic; he's been the best for 21 years!
