Brake issues

2007 2.4l, recently when I push brake pedal steering wheel jerks to left along with car and when releasing brake steering shoots back to the right,but only when going over 30 mph, is this a bad caliper issue? I drove it to the store yesterday and had no problems but wife used it later on and that's when the problem started.suspension was replaced in January not the brake system

Could be a sticky calliper, or brake pads, could be a brake flex hose . Then again it might be a wheel bearing hub.

Or, the LCAs were poorly installed, if that is what you mean by "suspension". If the brakes have not been inspected every 6 months, they are suspect.
Most installers completely ignore the torque specs for the LCA bolts and either forget to tighten them or use a impact gun. Proper is 74 lb.ft. then 180 degrees, not until the gun stops.

Maybe the brakes on the right side need bleeding.

What does that mean, “suspension was replaced”? Could you be more specific? Does the brake pedal feel normal? Any other recent work? Everything. Tires? Are they standard size? Any custom wheels? No lights on the dash?

I would advise you to start by bleeding the brakes too ...
as a rule, unauthorized turning of the car during braking is associated with uneven braking forces on the front wheels or one front wheel brakes a little earlier than the other front wheel.
In your case, the braking force on the left wheel is less than the braking force on the right wheel.
I draw your attention to the fact that this is VERY DANGEROUS. Every day you run the risk of being in the oncoming lane, where you will kill someone or die yourself. Don't delay repairs.
The reasons:
1. air in the brake pipes - bleeding the brakes;
2. Swelling or delamination of old brake hoses, interference with the movement of brake fluid - replacement of brake hoses;
3. Defect of brake pistons or rubber cuffs - first diagnostics, then repair

If the brakes are not soft you do not have a bleeding problem. A bad busing in the control arm or the suspension can cause the wheel to buckle slightly and hang up the brake. Check the front end.

The OP hasn't come back to his thread in 6 days.
Looks like another One-N-Done.

Nuts. And I was going to use my comment #5 to prove that no one ever answers all your questions.
