Cobalt SS springs?
i just purchased 09 cobalt SS springs for my 08 hhr panel, for $135 for all 4, thats my employee price here at the dealership i work at. hopefully they fit, they should be in tomorrow. i got a VIN off a 09 cobalt SS and just ordered the springs for it that way, so there was no guessing in our crappy computer system if we were ordering SS springs or not. so hopefully there is no difference between 08 hhr and 09 cobalt.
I picked up mine used for the thrifty price of $15, but I read on here there was a part number change for newer cobalts. Does that mean springs from an 06-07 cobalt ss/sc might not fit an '08 HHR?
good news for me. one of the guys in my car club just bought a black cobalt ss with the black idonized rims. His wife dont like the rims so when he gets new ones soon i will get those for the lo lo, and he is gonna change suspension so i get the springs for cheap to!
Interesting , always heard the Cobalt rear springs have a lesser spring rate then The HHR's..anybody have any actual numbers for rates between the two? Might have to use the GL's on the SS and get some Colbys for the woody..hmmmmm
Seeing that I was the one that started this thread I'd figure that I'd post a before and after pic....see this thread:

FYI....the springs are off an 06 Cobalt SS.
