I found a set of used adjustable coilovers that are on a cruze. The Cruze and the HHR are the same plarform supposedly, so I was wondering if they would work?. If anyone has any info on this its appreciated.

 

They are similar platforms. Ours is the Delta platform while theirs is the Delta II platform. I do not know all that was changed but I do know they redesigned the rear suspension for the Delta II platform. But that does not mean that they did not retain certain parts. You may get lucky. Although keep in mind that the Cruze weighs less than an HHR so spring rates may not be the same.

 

This is true. Ill have to check that also.

 

I would go to a site that sells coilovers for both the HHR and Cruze. Look up the part numbers for both. If they're different, then chances are they won't fit or if they do somehow fit would be non-compatible.(spring rates different or else as mentioned by 07azhhr )

Did you find any definitive answers? It is always nice to find parts that fit our cars but are sold for other cars in the same family. Especially when those parts may be cheaper for the other cars since they are more mainstream than our cars.
