A couple here a running sportlines; they haven't mentioned any issues that I know of.
Someone posted some specs about the Progress Tech's springs that were pretty close to the 1st gen GL drop.

Running Eibach Sportline made for the Cobalt. No issues and looks good. I have them on my panel. Probably no issue because I don't have seats/passengers in the back. I do wish that the rear spring rates were a little higher.
If anyone is experiencing a harsh ride, did you remember to trim the bump stops?

Customers can choose the sportlines still, as it is their choice :)

You probably won't be able to get a hold of anything besides 3rd gens, unless you know somebody that wants to get rid of them.
If anyone has a set of 1st gens they want to get rid of I would probably take them off your hands.

i also just found some goldlines that have the same up front but only a 2inch in back. what generation are these. they are at this website.
