Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the site for your advice and guidance on the front end clunking. Local mechanic advised it was the strut bearing(s), but several of you advised to start with sway bar bushings and end links.
Well I took everyones advice and started with the bushings and end links, and the noise is gone. I am a new HHR owner (2 months) and love the car, and am thankful for such a great forum where everyone offers advice and help.
