Front noise solved

I just get my HHR from the dealer. He changes the right part of the linkage. No more noise

As the other owners, I am waiting the left part to be changed when it will be broken.

I sent an e-mail to GM service to obtain some explanations on the quality of their product.

Glad to see they resolved the issue...

My fiance's right passenger side linkage went out last fall 2007...

Now it appears to be the same problem but on the left driver's side and getting worse.

This will be her 5th time to the dealership in the first year she's owned her HHR. Only two months ago it was in for the poor fitting cabin filter under the hood and rain water flooded the passenger floor.

I'd be curious to hear your reply from GM's service on the quality of their product.

Both front sway bar end links on my fiance's HHR were replaced... not sure about any of the others who posted here...

Not sure if that resolved the issue since she is now getting noise again from the same location on the driver's side now.

No reply from GM, and neither on front brake problem. At 7000 miles, the front disk were warped and the dealer had the audacity to tell me the repair is a gift and for the future I will have to send my wife's car to them to make the change of tires (summer to winter) if I want they respect the warranty.

Be sure that I wont send it back for the same problem. I will put aftermarket slotted disk.

GM has a lot to learn from company like Harley-Davidson. And I think that their lost of sales is certainly due to the service.

If the car is more then 12 months old, They don't have to fix the brakes. I had this problem with my 03 Grand Am. Disks were warped at about 15k.

I'm not sure that's true.

I believe one of our GM Tech. members posted the advisory here that indicated GM would perform the repair until 36/36,000.

Of course, as someone else says.....I am often wrong.
