My HHR has been lowered for over a year, riding on the stock struts.

I have had no problems whatsoever with strut leaking.

Sounds like you are in for a pair of "warranty" struts!

Best of luck,

I just came back from the Dealership and I took my in for an Oil Change and to rotate my tires, Guess what They had to order the Air Filter, They ran out and they found that my front struts have a leak also, and they are on order. The parts will be in Monday and I need to have new Brakes also. So its going in on Monday, My ride has 33,000 miles on it. I'm trying to get things done before my warranty runs out at 36,000 I have had my HHr since 2-18-06
Good luck with yours.

Rudy

If your vehicle is lowered.. I sure, they bottoming out big time...
If not lowered, seems about right for the struts to wear out....

Good luck..
