Got rid of the braking quiver.

So I ordered a set of drilled and slotted rotors along with ceramic pads. I was going to just adjust the rears, and install the fronts, but for an additional $45 bucks, I just replaced the rear shoes, and hardware. I cleaned the drums, and calipers before I painted them with duplicolor red brake caliper paint. Now when I drive, and come to a stop, there is no quiver. Brakes feel as firm as they did before, but I know everything is adjusted, and working correctly. I am going to do a fluid change, and see if that improves things.

warped rotors are very common on this platform...its too bad that GM clearly went with the lowest bidder on the factory rotors...
I had a cobalt ls, hhr 2lt, and hhr ss, all which i replaced factory rotors. The cheapest ones I could find were better the the factory ones...

By the way, looks sharp!

Fixed. I usually use an image host on forums so that the pics are re sized automatically. I did not see that feature here, so I just used my photobucket account, not thinking about size. Sorry.
