HELP cobalt springs
I'm running 18" Cobalt SS wheels and they fill the wheel well great - just have to go through this same thing and drop the rear a little to get the stance right. But as said before, the larger size wheel, the skinnier the tire, and the more expensive the tire. I've had the displeasure of having to replace a new tire because of potholes around town that gave me a sizeable bulge in the sidewall.
I'm not really a chrome guy, but I couldn't see black wheels on your wagon. Actually if I were you, I'd do something totally different...white wheels. I don't think anyone else on here has white and with all the white striping I think it would work. If white doesn't appeal to you, then go chrome.
Yea as much driving as I do im gunna stick with 17's or I may keep with 16's untill these tires get worn. Thanks for all your thoughts. I hadn't really thought about white. Maybe a white rim with chrome lip.
No problemo with SS wheels on Bucky
Here's the clearance on mine to the strut-plate with 26.1" tall tires on..
That's about tight as I would feel comfortable..
And not all tires are created equal, so some may not fit.
But many members here are running hhr SS rims on ls & lts'..

I'm sticking to my 17", rode in one with 18"s & it is a harsher ride (less sidewall) & less sidewall = more cost for tires etc..
