Dead thread but relavent; I just installed mybar but didnt use loctite. I bought it but was so excited to get the bar on that I forgot to put loctite on. Is it really necessary to use the loctite?

No it is not needed if properly torqued. To be safe I would check torque again on the 4 bolts after 100 miles.

If you're going to check the torque after 100 miles, why not just pull the bolts and add some Locktite while you're under there ?
Just pull 1 bolt at a time and you won't have to remove the sway bar.
