Installing some BC Coilovers on my HHR SS

Just got a set of BC Coilovers, going to install them on the SS. Not a lot of good threads about coil overs, seems to be a lot of myths and folk lore surrounding where they are the same as Megans and for Cobalts only.

That all aside I could not find a good premium shock that was worth the money to replace the stocks with, and I want to be able to lower the car slightly to my needs, allowing for adjustment as well. BC's seem like a great option, I don't need the best, I need a decent set that won't cost too much, this is more of a long term investment that a take to the track car.

I get pictures posted shortly of the before.

I should get a full alignment after installing this gear correct? After about 50 miles...?

If I didn't have newer Ksports I'd jump on the BC's...have only heard good things about them.

I got the rears installed today, had some issues locating bolts for the rear bottom shocks (one was froze in the old stock bushing) so actually found a 5mm shorter bolt at Home Depot that worked great.

So far the ride hieght looks to be about stock but I purposely have them up as high as possible so I can work my way down. Seems stiffer, but wondering, I used the stock bump stops and isolators again (not the crap foam ones just the hard plastic tops and bottoms with all stock bump stops.

Anyone else do this?
Anyone have to cut their bump stops?

Will get some pics up shortly
