I'm thinking the SS/TC springs will be the way to go, sleeper, for the same reasons you went with them. The others seem to have too much drop or end up too soft.... I don't want to lose load carrying capability either..... not that I haul stuff a lot, but if I do....

Thanks everybody!

From reading this and other threads, you are convincing me to put it on my list to get a set of the 05- 07 Cobalt SS/SC rear springs. I don't haul anything heavy, and my daughter doesn't like the somewhat choppy ride she gets in the backseat. If it will lower the back end and smooth the ride, I'm game. Thanks for giving your feedback on this.

Those pics do show the Goldlines which I tried first but was not totally happy with due to noise going over larger bumps. Tried the SS/TC springs as others on this site have done and was MUCH happier with the ride and handling. The drop seemed to be the same at 1". No problem carrying extra weight either as I pull a trailer quite often with 100 lb tongue weight with no sag.

Thanks, man..... all this info really helped.

Just hope there's no stocking problem with the SS/TC springs.... Gonna order them today and see what they say.

EDIT: Ordered and paid...... Less than $75 bills. SWEET!!!

The SS/TC springs are showing as "on order" through GM Parts Direct..... leads me to believe they don't have them in stock so it may be awhile...

This just in..... "Part is on national backorder with GM, GM does not currently have an ETA for the part to be released."

So much for that idea.
