I put EBC reds on recently. Very pleased with performance, and much less dust.

lifetime warranty, no dust and great pads. alot of gear heads use them on all kinds of cars. i have used them for years

Wagners are great for everyday use..and dont break the pocket....and it takes many many miles to get em dirty

Thanks for the input on the pads. Mine is an automatic with Stage 1 upgrade so no Brembo's. Looks like I will go with a good ceramic set.

I use Wagner ceramic in all my vehicles.

I think they were about $32 a set at rock auto for the HHR.

You know, maybe I'm lucky, but I don't experience the brake dust problem that many members complain about. I've not had the problem on the OEM pads as well as the current replacement pads also by AC Delco.

So, I can't associate with the "dust" complaint.....luckily.

It's mostly an SS problem. If the SS has Brembos with stock pads, then it's even worse.

Depends on how often you wash the wheels too...In the winter time its not always possible and do they ever build up! Almost have to scrape it off....My LS and the SS were ugly dusters..since ceramics, almost dont notice it until washing them..which isnt done often enough...
