Thumbs up Before & After adding 09 Cobalt SS/TC Rear Springs

Ok, I didn't want to post till I had put a couple hundred good "shake-down" test miles on with the New Rear Leveling Springs.,
That being said & done: Both springs have 8 coil winds (stock 2LT, & Balt SS/TC)...
And as already posted, SS/TC springs are 1" shorter, & lower the rear 1".
That's just what I got as well.. Which is what I wanted. Measuring from top of Rim to fender bottom lip, on both. Don't mind the second pic (tape leaning), I had a problem with holding the tape measure "plumb" & shooting the pic, but trust me, it's 1" lower..

BEFORE:

And AFTER:

Before Springs:

After Springs: Bear in mind, my driveway is on a slight grade up from the road, inclining toward the rear of my ride. On level ground, My Ride is now Level.

My impressions FWIW after having the 09 Cobalt SS/TC springs in back, for approx 200 miles:
Feels much better pushing into curves, before it felt kind'a loose & a bit top heavy, which made me a little uncomfortable in curves. Now I feel more "in the machine", not on top of it. (so to speak)..

I have hauled many things & ALL was fine.
Filled Gas tank or empty, height diff was only 1/4"
I feel I can say the springs are a nice up-grade. Ride quality is still about the same as before, Very Good. Possibly a slight bit tighter, which I was hoping for..

PS: When I get a chance I'll shoot a pic or two on level ground..

In summation, I would only add the $31. bucks a piece for the springs was a great investment for my purposes. It certainly has increased my fun factor driving..

Thanks Jeff-

I think it has possibilities..Blank canvas (so to speak), but that is changing.

Next a good rear Sway-Bar & that should have me hooked up (for now) on suspension, with much better than stock handling, manners & vehicle stance....

Ok, so can anyone give a good summary here?

Is there a difference in drop between the early and later Cobalt SS springs? How much is the front and rear drop for each?

What is the drop with HHR SS springs?

Thanks!

I think the HHR SS springs will leave the back slightly higher than the front, while the cobalt springs will make it level or even slightly lower in the back.
I dont think there is much difference in the visible drop between the cobalt springs, but the newer ones from the 2008+ turbo have a stiffer ride.

Are Saturn ION Redline springs the same as the Cobalt SS springs?
