As indicated in the update of a previous post....

I deleted my statement regarding 2 different sets of springs available for the SS. Stupid mistake because I was pressed for time and read to fast. Overlooked the fact the other set was FRONT Springs....dumb.

IIRC, adding HHR SS springs to rear of LS/LT will lower approx 3/4"..........

Just sayin...

Thanks Sleeper, good to know.
If I replace only the springs, and not the shocks, will there be a difference in ride height? Do the FE5 shock help handling, but no effect on height?

I have a set of both, HHR SS springs, with fe3, and fe5 shocks, fe5 much quicker responce, but the fe3's sit 1/2" lower. I like them both.

Yes just changing the rear springs alter the ride height.

FE5 shocks will be firmer, but no notable ride height change.

Thanks sleeper. So I'll get the 1 1/4" drop with the springs alone. Replacing the shocks just helps handling/ride, correct?
Also, I noted your signature banner...I do sales at Barger H-D in SoCal.

Yes the Cobalt SS/TC rear springs will drop the rear 1-1/4" after settling. (I have em in mine for about a few yrs now)..

Yes up-grading shocks would just help handling. If your stock shocks are leaking, great time to up-grade..

____Very Cool, about sales @ Barger H-D... Do you ride ?

Wifey & I have been out to Glendale H-D, & many other Dealers, Bro-n-Law lives out there..

We did the HOG* member "Fly-n-Ride deal.. That was back in 1995 tho..
